  Healthcare Data Analyst Opportunity Location: Rochester, NY Client: Healthcare Duration: 03/20/20 (will extend out) Interviews: Skype or Webex for excellent candidate.  Work must be done on site. Excellent communication skills MUST HAVE LINKEDIN Must pass client required screening process The Data Analyst will work in the IT department providing analytical support to healthcare lines of business by ensuring reports and data requests are met and quality concerns are addressed .  As an analyst, the individual will provide client information as scheduled or requested, ensure data is complete, work with clients to identify and remediate gaps to ensure quality, and will be proactive in anticipating and answering questions before they arise.  The individual may be responsible for requirements definition, minor testing activities, and may work with application developers and operations personnel to provide requirements that support business needs.  Top Requirements: 2-4 years experience analyzing data via SQL, 2-4 years experience building, maintaining, troubleshooting, SSIS packages Healthcare experience highly preferred Responsibilities: Analyze SSIS packages for break/fix remediation Gather, evaluate and provide proper data to support reporting summaries for account managers Interrogate data through basic SQL code writing Assess, evaluate and research findings through critical thinking analysis to ensure congruency in the data and findings Prioritize daily activities accordingly based on general business rules Proactively address departmental tickets or other needs and requests Competencies / Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Technical/analytical skills including proficiency in Tableau, SQL Server, PowerBI & Microsoft Office suite Ability to analyze, organize, and integrate large amounts of complex data into clear and concise presentations and status reports Performs scripted stored procedures. Communicate verbally and proactively to departmental peers, superiors and other parts of the organization Critical thinking and conceptual problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail Strong experience with understanding users’ needs in reporting and insights Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to query databases proficiently. Preferred: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis and reporting in healthcare 1-3 years of data querying, transformation using SQL – need to be comfortable with multi-table joins, calculations 2-3  years of visualization experience using SSRS, Tableau or Power BI. Ability to create and refine stored procedures
